Cosmetic And Laboratory Use Empty Glass Ampoules
Ampoules are glass laboratory vials composed of low extractable clear borosilicate glass that can be sealed to maintain sample purity and extend sample shelf life. These clear glass laboratory vials are ideal for standard packaging, environmental standards, diagnostic standards and cryogenic storage. These glass lab vials feature a pull-seal or tip-seal stem to close the container and help reduce sample contamination thanks to their final tamper-proof seal. The gold band on the 1ml and 2ml ampoules identifies the pre-scoring function for easy opening. Clear glass ampoules designed for freeze-drying, proteolysis, and micro-measurement of ketones and amino acids. This small volume freeze-dried glass laboratory vial can be flame sealed or stored with a stopper
An ampoule (also called ampoules and ampoules) is a sealed vial used to hold and preserve a sample, usually solid or liquid. Ampoules are usually made of glass.
Modern ampoules are most often used to contain drugs and chemicals that must be kept out of air and contaminants. They are sealed by melting the thin top with an open flame, usually opened by breaking the neck. Before sealing, the space above the chemical can be filled with an inert gas. The walls of glass ampoules are usually strong enough to fit into the glove box without difficulty.
Glass ampoules are more expensive than bottles and other simple containers, but in many cases their excellent gas and liquid impermeability and all-glass interior are worth the extra cost. Examples of chemicals sold in ampoules are injectable drugs, air-sensitive reagents such as tetrakis(triphenylphosphine)palladium(0), deuterated solvents and hygroscopic materials such as trifluoromethanesulfonic acid, and analytical standards
